Download Parts list: 1 x Air filter Element 1 x Cold Air Hose Assembly 1 x Literature Pack Fixing kit: – 1 x #48 Hose Clamp 4 x Plastic Ties. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal from the battery. 2. Unclip, unbolt and remove the air box intake pipe from the vehicle. (Fig. 1) 3. Unclip, unbolt and remove the air box to engine intake pipe from the vehicle. (Fig. 2&3) 4. Remove the rubber seal from the air box neck. (Fig. 4) 5. Using a junior hacksaw cut 4 x 1mm wide slits equally spaced around the air box neck. Remove any loose plastic from the air box (Fig. 5) 6. Unclip the base from the airbox and remove the original filter element. (Fig. 6) 7. Using a hot air gun gently warm the air box neck to aid fitting of the Air filter assembly. 8. Feed the Air filter assembly into the air box and through the air box neck. (Fig. 7) 9. Replace the rubber seal around the air box neck. (Fig. 8) 10. Refit the air box to engine intake pipe to the vehicle using the #48 hose clamp around the air box neck, firmly tighten the #48 hose clamp until the air filter is secure. (Fig. 9) 11. Refit the air box intake hose to the vehicle and secure using the original bolt and 2 of the plastic ties supplied. 12. Pierce a hole in one plastic end of the cold air hose, Ovalise the pierced end of the hose and secure to the front lower spoiler as shown. (Fig. 10) 13. Position the end of the cold air hose towards the air filter element and secure using one of the plastic ties supplied. (Fig. 11) 14. Reconnect the negative battery terminal. 15. Carry out a final check of the kit fitment. Installation is now complete.
